Marianthi Papalexandri & Pe Lang
Sound Installations and Sound Objects 

To mark the Donaueschingen Music Festival, we are presenting sound installations and sound objects by the Zürich and Ithaka (US) based Greek composer and sound artist Marianthi Papalexandri (*1974 in Ptolemais / GR) and her partner, the Swiss artist Pe Lang (*1974 Sursee / CH) who is internationally known for his minimalist sound sculptures and kinetic objects.

The works oscillate between sound art, musical composition and constructivist, strictly functional kinetic objects and explore the factors that unite these different techniques and creative practices.
