Yesterday we had the pleasure of opening a wonderful new 2-Raum exhibition: “Future Fossils” by Andreas Tesch.⁠
⁠
In his works, the Melbourne-born artist, who lives and works in Berlin, creates “fossils for the future” made by human hands. The medium of clay allows him to develop visual forms that reflect his cultural heritage, the Australian landscape, and impressions from everyday life.⁠

A special thank you goes to Lenard F. Krawinkel for his engaging and entertaining opening speech, as well as to Marius Schwarz and Leonard Koßmann (Trossingen University of Music) for the perfect musical accompaniment.⁠

Join us for the opening of “Future Fossils” by Australian-born artist Andreas Tesch.⁠
⁠
In this exhibition, Tesch presents future fossils — objects created by human hands that imagine what traces of our present might remain for the future. Working primarily with clay, the artist explores visual forms inspired by his cultural heritage, the Australian landscape, and everyday objects. These forms evoke memories and associations, often resembling botanical or biological species.⁠
⁠
For his works, Tesch has developed distinctive surface techniques. Subtle irregularities are intentionally preserved, creating textures that recall organic structures, weathered bones, or tissue-like surfaces.⁠

On the final day of the exhibition, Museum Art.Plus invites you to a special guided tour with the artist himself.⁠
⁠
Born in 1967 in Simbach am Inn, Kreitner studied in Berlin and New York and taught Kinetic Object Construction at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich from 2005 to 2015.⁠
⁠
Movement and light are at the core of his work. His sculptures—described as “minimal kinetics”—are defined by slow, precise motion and a reduced language of form and color.⁠
⁠
After the tour, join us for a glass of sparkling wine and a chance to meet and talk with the artist. 🥂⁠
